This is some really sad news. Saturday, former British rally champion Colin McRae crashed while flying his helicopter, close to his residence in Scotland. Besides the driver, in the helicopter there where three more persons, among which there was Colin’s 4 year old son. Nobody survived.

Colin McRae was the first British driver to become world rally champion, in 1995, with Subaru. He was one of Britain’s best rally drivers, winning 25 rallies and 42 podium finishes in his career. And for those of you who haven’t seen him race, you’ve probably heard of the very popular video game, Colin McRae Rally, I sure did played it with my friends for hours. Again, this is a sad day, because, at only 39 years old, motorsport loses one of the best and most loved pilots. Rest In Peace, Colin!
